Welcome to Day by Day Art Therapy

Founded by Raphaelle Legillon in 2016, Day by Day Art Therapy aims to improve the lives of the elderly in care through visual arts and the therapeutic process.

Art therapy - accessible to anyone, whether you have any art skills or not

Art therapy can be applied in many different contexts using a variety of methods. It is a means to self-exploration and self-expression through the guidance and support of the art therapist. Art brings vitality and joy in the making, it invites you to play, to use your imagination and to experiment with the art materials.

Art therapy is not about having artistic skills or producing a beautiful work of art - it is about exploration and finding meaning. You may never have picked up a paint brush in your life, but if you are drawn to the art materials, that is what matters.

Day by Day Art Therapy runs art therapy workshops for ageing adults in care. These workshops are a way of introducing "mindful art-making" to the clients, as well as involving them in a creative and social activity.
